Bob Mola

Bob grew up in Hyde Park, a suburb of Boston, MA. After graduating from high school in 1962, Bob joined the USAF and was trained as an electrical power specialist. He completed a 2 year tour in Alaska where he experienced, among other things, being in a 7.8 earthquake in 1963.

After his discharge from the Air Force in 1967, Bob moved back to MA and earned his electrical power engineering degree at Northeastern University. While working for Stone and Webster Engineering Corp, Bob worked on several nuclear power plants and then went on to work for Russelectric Inc, in the design, control and installation of numerous types of electrical power systems. He retired in 2010.

Bob has three sons, Robbie, Doug and Nick. While his children were growing up, he was active in little league and basketball league. Bob married Anita Davies in 2007 and gained a blended family with two more “sons” Sandy and Jason.. He and Anita moved permanently to Tucson in February, 2011.
Bob enjoys golf, fishing, gardening and cooking. He also loves being a dad and granddad and feels that joining the Kiwanis de Amigos gives him an opportunity to help the youth in the Tucson area reach their goals and dreams.
